Fred Ball, CFO
Frederick Ball is Chief Financial Officer for Webroot, overseeing the company’s financial operations and helping to drive the company's strategic growth initiatives. Ball brings to Webroot over 20 years of leadership experience transforming global organizations. Most recently Ball was Chief Financial Officer for BigBand Networks (NASDAQ: BBND) where he led the company through an initial public offering in 2007. Previously Ball was Chief Operating Officer of CallTrex Corporation and also held senior leadership roles at Borland Software Corporation (NASDAQ: BORL) and KLA-Tencor Corporation (NASDAQ: KLAC). Ball also spent over 10 years working for PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Ball is Chairman of the Audit Committee for the Electro-Scientific Industries Board of Directors (NASDAQ: ESIO).
Ball received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
