Paul Lipman, Chief Strategy Officer
Paul Lipman is the chief strategy officer for Webroot, responsible for executing strategic growth plans for the business across all geographic and vertical markets. Lipman has responsibility for corporate strategy, corporate and business development and product management.
Lipman joined Webroot in 2006 as vice president and general manager of the company’s Consumer products business and most recently served as the unit’s senior vice president and general manager. A renowned Internet services and e-commerce executive, Lipman has two decades of industry experience. He was previously general manager of global services at Keynote Systems Inc, a publicly traded eBusiness performance management services provider. While at Keynote, Lipman was responsible for managing and growing all of Keynote's global consulting, customer experience management and competitive intelligence services.
Prior to joining Keynote, Lipman served as vice president of business development and sales at Enviz Inc., an early pioneer in customer experience management technology. Lipman also served as senior vice president of business development and marketing at E-Greetings Network, a highly-regarded e-commerce network. Lipman was on the senior executive management team when E-Greetings went public in 1999. Earlier in his career, Lipman worked as a senior consultant for Andersen Consulting (Accenture) in Europe.
Lipman holds a master's degree from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree in theoretical physics from Manchester University in England.
