Spyware Detection
Quickly detect more than 3500 types of common spyware infections that could put your corporate data at risk, such as malicious Trojans and keyloggers. In addition to monitoring outbound traffic from a system, Webroot now automatically analyzes the processes running on the user’s computer. Spyware detection is integrated into the vulnerability scanner, so you’ll receive a detailed spyware and vulnerability assessment for each machine tested.

With scans configured directly from the Policies tab of the Web Security Service Management Portal, the Webroot scanner saves you the time and hassle of managing a separate vulnerability scanner. Schedule weekly or monthly scans, or run immediate scans at any time. View results on the new Scan Results tab in the Management Portal. You can search and sort by machine, user, type of scan and number of vulnerabilities, then drill down to view information about each machine or threat.

The scanner’s installer is only 1.7 MB, keeping the DWP lightweight yet powerful. Scans take less than 15 seconds to run, with a complete analysis performed in the cloud. The scanner focuses on the programs most susceptible to malicious attacks, providing an extra layer of endpoint defense without impacting machine performance or hindering user productivity. Process information is uploaded to the cloud, where Webroot identifies vulnerabilities and centralizes results in a Web-based management portal.
