The Flushing Bank Invests in Internet Security with Webroot

The Problem

Flushing Bank is comprised of 16 different branches across New York State, 350 employees, and an increasingly mobile workforce. Recently, as the individual demands of those separate entities became more apparent, the Internet security appliance the bank had in place could no longer effectively keep up with compliance and data loss prevention demands.

"We had inherited an appliance that wasn't addressing the needs of the overall network," explained Alexander Gellerman, vice president of systems infrastructure at Flushing Bank. "We needed to ensure data loss prevention, to make sure all of our locations could access that network independently and we needed to be able to apply more granular control."
