Webroot, a leading security provider for the consumer, enterprise and SMB markets, today announced Webroot® AntiVirus with Spy Sweeper was the top-selling security product in the U.S. retail market for the week ending November 28, 2009, capturing 32.8 percent of unit share, according to The NPD Group’s Weekly Tracking Service. This period includes retail sales on Black Friday, when the holiday shopping season traditionally begins.
The market share data reflects the latest numbers reported by The NPD Group, a leading global provider of consumer and retail market research information.

This is especially top of mind during the holidays when over two-thirds of consumers we recently surveyed plan to buy at least half of their holiday gifts online," said Paul Lipman, senior vice president and general manager of Webroot’s Consumer business.
