Webroot, a leading Internet security provider for the consumer, enterprise and SMB markets, today announced the appointment of Elizabeth Andora as vice president of Human Resources. Andora brings to Webroot two decades of leadership experience overseeing human resources for companies during critical periods of their strategic expansion.

"Webroot will grow aggressively this year through acquisitions and investments in research, development and support, and we’re very pleased to have Liz on board to lead the integration of valuable talent into our team," said Dick Williams, chief executive officer, Webroot.

With over 20 years of direct experience, Andora possesses a strong background in leading human resources for large technology companies. Most recently Andora was director of Human Resources for Mergers and Acquisitions for Sun Microsystems, where she created and executed a global HR M&A strategy to support the company's strategic objectives. Prior to Sun, Andora spent nearly seven years at Hewlett Packard (HP). She most recently led human resources for the company's 700-employee Technical Computing Division. Andora was also a member of the senior leadership team responsible for the strategic direction of HP's start-up Portable Capture and Communications business, helping the unit attain high marks from employees for its leadership, people and culture. Previously Andora held human resources roles at RJR Nabisco and Alexander and Alexander Consulting Group.
