Boulder, CO, – January 17, 2011

Webroot, the first Internet security service company, today announced two new executive leadership positions created to lead the company’s cloud technology development and adoption efforts. Michael Malloy has joined as executive vice president of products and strategy, and Gerry Coady has joined as chief information officer.

"Webroot is revolutionizing the Internet security industry. To deliver on our promise of making it easy for consumers and businesses to stay protected online, we need strong leaders in place to drive how we develop the best security services for our customers," said Dick Williams, chief executive officer, Webroot. "Mike and Gerry have proven track records for leading successful product strategies and building highly efficient internal business systems for global companies. I am pleased to have them on board as we work toward delivering security as a service more effectively than anyone else in the market."

Malloy traz uma bagagem de mais de 30 anos de experiência de liderança em empresas de tecnologia e serviços financeiros. Malloy is charged with providing strategic and tactical direction to Webroot's product and business organizations in order to consistently deliver the highest-quality security services.

Malloy joined Webroot from New Relic, where as vice president of marketing and sales he was responsible for a tenfold increase in the company's customer base in a two-year period.

Coady has more than 25 years of experience in information technology (IT) and software product development. As Webroot's chief information officer, Coady will provide vision and leadership for planning, developing and implementing information technology initiatives for all aspects of the company's business operations. Coady was most recently senior vice president and chief information officer at Republic Airways/Frontier Airlines, where he drove business process improvements based on measures for cost-effectiveness, service quality, and technological advancement. Coady previously held IT leadership positions at global technology companies including IBM Global Services, Digital Equipment Corporation and J.D. Edwards (now part of Oracle). Coady received a Master of Science in management and administration from Boston University and completed studies for a PhD in Management (completed all but Dissertation) from Colorado Technical University.
