Webroot, the market leader in cloud-based, real-time internet threat detection, today announced that it has been named one of The Denver Post's Top Workplaces in 2014. This annual award honors best places to work based solely on employee feedback, and Webroot was ranked in the midsize employer category for companies with 150 to 499 local employees.
“I believe Webroot's two greatest assets are our customers and our employees. Just as we focus on the quality of our end-to-end customer experience, we also focus on maintaining a work environment that attracts and retains the best and brightest people in our industry,” said Dick Williams, CEO at Webroot. “I'm very proud that Webroot is recognized as one of the Denver region's best workplaces, but even more so because that recognition is based on feedback directly from our employees.”
WorkplaceDynamics, which partnered with The Denver Post to compile the Top Workplaces list, based the rankings on employee surveys. Employees were asked to score employers on measures including appreciation of workers, direction, confidence in leadership, values and ethics, encouragement of ideas, competence of management, and pay and benefits. The Top Workplaces rankings are divided into large, midsize and small categories. WorkplaceDynamics says the categories are important because job satisfaction varies depending on company size.
The Denver Post published the complete list of Top Workplaces on April 13. For more information about the 2014 list please visit www.denverpost.com/topworkplaces2014.
