It should be\nnoted that this update only removes the version of Adobe Flash that comes\nbundled with Windows 10. Internet browser extensions and stand-alone installs\nof the software will remain unaffected by this update. Should the user want to\nre-install Adobe Flash on an updated system, they must either revert to a point\nprior to the update or perform a fresh install of Windows 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Gunnebo Suffers Critical Data Breach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Officials for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infosecurity-magazine.com\/news\/hackers-leak-swedish-security\/\">Gunnebo<\/a>,\na Swedish security firm, have revealed that they were victims of a data breach in\nAugust. Researchers also discovered an 18GB file confirmed to contain customer\ninformation stolen from Gunnebo. The compromised data was uploaded to a public\nserver after Gunnebo refused to pay a ransom, exposing roughly 38,000 sensitive\nfiles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Finnish Health Center Hacked<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It was recently revealed that the Finnish psychotherapy\ncenter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.helpnetsecurity.com\/2020\/10\/26\/data-breach-psychotherapy-center\/\">Vastaamo<\/a>\nsuffered a ransomware attack that compromised highly sensitive patient data belonging\nto thousands of individuals. After refusing to pay a 40 Bitcoin ransom, the\nattackers began publishing the stolen data on the dark web. While officials have\nyet to determine when the breach occurred, they have been contacting victims\nabout the stolen data since October 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Customer Accounts at UK Restaurant Chain Breached<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Recent technology changes at restaurants and other public\nestablishments like touchless methods of interaction have left UK restaurants open\nmajor security flaws. One such flaw has been exploited at UK restaurant chain <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infosecurity-magazine.com\/news\/nandos-customers-hit-credential\/\">Nando\u2019s<\/a>,\nwith several customer accounts affected. By accessing previous account logins\nand using credentials that were stolen in prior cyberattacks, hackers have been\nable to create fraudulent orders. The company has since confirmed that, though\nthey themselves weren\u2019t the target of the breach, they will compensate any\ncustomers who are fraudulently charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Ryuk Suspected in Major Steelcase Attack<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>International furniture maker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bleepingcomputer.com\/news\/security\/steelcase-furniture-giant-hit-by-ryuk-ransomware-attack\/\">Steelcase<\/a>\nwas forced to take its systems offline following a ransomware attack that began\nlate last week. It is believed that the attack used the highly active\nransomware variant, Ryuk, though this has yet to be confirmed by Steelcase.
