Webroot Appoints Stan McKee to Board of Directors

Technology Veteran Brings Extensive Track Record of Business and Financial Results to Security Intelligence Innovator

Broomfield, CO – May 22, 2013

Webroot, a leader in cloud-based security intelligence solutions, today announced the appointment of Stan McKee to its board of directors. McKee will also chair Webroot's audit committee.

"Stan's deep knowledge of technology, along with his business and financial expertise, make him a wonderful addition, and we are extremely pleased to welcome him to our board of directors," said Dick Williams, chief executive officer at Webroot. "His strategic guidance, coupled with his mentoring of our finance team, will be invaluable as we build upon Webroot's market leadership and expand globally to meet the growing demand for our innovative cloud-based security intelligence solutions."

"Webroot is taking a unique approach to protecting companies and consumers from today's most challenging malware threats and has produced a truly innovative solution that leverages two of the most significant technology advances of the past decade - the cloud and security intelligence," said McKee. "Businesses and users across the globe are rethinking their security strategy to better protect their corporate and personal data against cybercriminals, and Webroot has positioned itself perfectly as a leader in the market. I look forward to working alongside some of the industry's most innovative security leaders to further accelerate the company's rapid growth and visibility."

He earned a B.A and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
