BROOMFIELD, CO. - June 10, 2016
Webroot, the market leader in next-generation endpoint security and cloud-based collective threat intelligence, today announced that Webroot senior director of security architecture David Dufour will speak at the Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit 2016. Showcasing its Smarter Cybersecurity™ approach, Webroot has also announced its Premier sponsorship of the event, taking place June 13-16 in National Harbor, Maryland.
On Tuesday, June 14, at 10:30 a.m. EDT, David Dufour will host the “Threat Intelligence Across the Enterprise: Providing a Holistic Security Solution” session, in which he’ll examine how contextual threat intelligence can improve an organization’s ability to recognize and stop new threats at the endpoint, the perimeter and in the system on a chip (SoC). Dufour will also explore how real-time analysis of unknown objects can dramatically decrease an organization’s risk profile.
“Businesses are struggling to identify and stop new web threats because polymorphic malware changes too fast for traditional security technologies to keep up,” said David Dufour, senior director of security architect at Webroot. “Today actionable, real-time threat intelligence with high accuracy is required to counter the ever changing cyber threat landscape.”
