Webroot, the first Internet security service company, today announced it has opened an office in Leidschendam, Netherlands, in response to the company's growth in the BeNeLux market. The Dutch management team, composed of Jeroen Vroemen and Peter Lindeman, will shape the expansion of Webroot in the BeNeLux market.
Webroot BeNeLux aims to deliver Webroot's enterprise security-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions to businesses via channel partners, leveraging the company's award-winning Channel Edge Partner Program to support its partners. In the coming months the organization will expand to a total of six employees. The first vacancy of Channel Account Manager has already been filled.
Webroot's enterprise SaaS product portfolio includes Web Security Service, E-mail Security Service and E-mail Archiving service. Using these solutions, organizations can protect their e-mail and Web browser in the cloud against viruses, spam, malicious Web sites, data loss (DLP) and harmful downloads. With Webroot's e-mail archiving solution organizations simplify their e-mail storage and management and support their compliance requirements.
According to Jeroen Vroemen, Managing Director Webroot BeNeLux, the market for security solutions is in motion. "We have seen a surge for Web-based security solutions. The quality of the SaaS security solutions and the customer support we offer has driven Webroot's continued growth in this market."
